WHITE LANDS (2008-2018)

Raw matter forms the foundation of Bidinelli’s work throughout her 2008–2018 period of artistic research and experimentation, where it appears as a constant and defining presence. Its role is intensified by a sense of weightlessness, achieved through the continuous layering of luminous white.

At times, this white surface is interrupted by markings that recall an archaic, classical language, lending the compositions a timeless quality. In this process, white restores raw matter to a state of purity, reclaiming an innocence eroded by the passage of existence. Matter is no longer burdened by illusion or decay; instead, it is elevated through delicate gestures and carefully composed spatial harmonies.
